The research and development building is designed primarily for composites research. Delaware Public Safety Building Owner: State of Delaware The two-story brick office building houses five departments of the Division of Public Safety as well as Office of the Secretary. The structure was planned as an integral part of DelDOT's existing campus in Dover and services the public in day to day vehicular regristration and licensing matters. Sussex County Administrative Office Building Georgetown, Delaware Sq. Ft.: 61,000 The building houses 17 county departments, from assessment to utility builling, and 183 employees. The atrium off the main entrance was constructed to provide light for Record of Deeds workers in the basement. The new building has a historical flavor through its architectural incorporation of Georgetown's post office. The post office's marble wainscoting in the lobby and its wood wainscoting in the newly fashioned ground-level County Council chamber were preserved, and the county accounting department is now housed on the old building's second floor.
